Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs for Chiropractic and Sustainable Movement:

  • Your intake paperwork will be sent to you before our scheduled session. If you have any past imaging, please bring that to your exam. The first visit is 45-60 minutes and is a complete health history and physical exam. You’ll be asked to move your body for many of the assessments, so wear comfy clothes.

  • Unless there is a need for further imaging or testing, you will get adjusted at the first visit.

  • At our second visit we will go through complete exam findings and present you with the recommendations for care. The goal is to get you feeling better, faster and for you to have an understanding of what’s happening in your body. Bring all your questions, from here on out we are a team. If I don’t feel like I’m the right person to help you get the most results, I have a trusted team of professionals to co-manage with and refer to.

  • There is no direct billing in the office but if you have chiropractic benefits I’m happy to provide you with an itemized receipt for you to submit to be reimbursed directly by your insurance company.

  • I’m trained in different types of manual (by hand) adjusting that traditionally make the popping noise (aka a cavitation) to restore a joint’s motion. If this isn’t your cup of tea, I also have very gentle instrument adjustment options as well.

  • Let me ask you some questions:

Do you like natural healing without the use of drugs or surgery? Then chiropractic has your back (oh, I love puns).

Have neck pain, back pain or headaches? Yep, chiropractic is a great option for you.

Have extremity pain or dysfunction (like shoulders, wrists, knees)? I can adjust and improve function of any joint in the body, so the answer here is also a yes.

Have a sports injury? Ohhhh, yes, get on in here, chiropractic is great with those too.

Car accident? The literature is clear that getting chiropractic care improves short and long term outcomes of injuries caused by car accidents.

Sit at a desk all day? Please, yes. This is slowly taking away your function and there is so much chiropractic can do to help.

Want to feel better in your body? Most of my patients report this as a result of being under chiropractic care, it’s pretty neat. So if that is what you’re looking for, chiropractic could be a great solution for you.
